Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

THAILAND DIGITAL ARRIVAL CARD (TDAC)

Planning a trip to Phuket, Thailand? Before you fly, make sure you understand the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC), an online arrival registration system required for foreign nationals entering Thailand.

Introduced on 1 May 2025, the TDAC replaced Thailand’s traditional paper-based TM.6 arrival card. Travellers must submit their arrival information online before entering the country, whether arriving by air, land or sea.

If you are visiting Phuket for a beach holiday, a family getaway or a relaxing escape on the Andaman coast, completing your TDAC before departure is an important step in preparing for your journey.

Official TDAC website: https://tdac.immigration.go.th

What Is the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)?

The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) is an online form used by Thai immigration authorities to collect travellers’ personal, passport and travel information before they enter Thailand.

The digital system replaces the previous paper arrival card and helps streamline the arrival registration process.

Please note that the TDAC is not a visa and does not replace any visa or entry requirements that apply to your nationality. Travellers should check their individual entry requirements before travelling to Thailand.

Who Needs to Complete the TDAC?

All non-Thai nationals entering Thailand are required to submit a Thailand Digital Arrival Card before arrival, regardless of whether they enter by air, land or sea.

This requirement includes tourists, business travellers, visa-exempt visitors and travellers entering with a visa on arrival. Children and infants also need a TDAC.

Travellers who remain in the international transit area and do not pass through Thai immigration generally do not need to submit a TDAC. If you need to pass through immigration during a transit or transfer, you should complete the form before entering Thailand.

If you are unsure whether the requirement applies to your itinerary, check the official TDAC website for the latest guidance.

When Should You Submit the Thailand Digital Arrival Card?

You can submit your TDAC within three days before your scheduled arrival in Thailand, including your arrival date.

For example, if your flight arrives in Thailand on 25 November, you can submit the form from 22 November.

We recommend completing the form as soon as your submission window opens, rather than leaving it until the last minute. This gives you time to review your information and correct any errors before departure.

Each entry into Thailand requires a new TDAC submission.

Is the Thailand Digital Arrival Card Free?

Yes. Submitting the TDAC through the official Thai Immigration Bureau website is free of charge.

Use only the official website: https://tdac.immigration.go.th

Be cautious of third-party websites that charge a processing fee or present themselves as the official government service. If you choose to use an authorised travel service, check its fees and terms carefully.

Can You Edit Your TDAC After Submission?

Yes. You can update your submitted information through the official TDAC website before entering Thailand.

However, certain personal details cannot be edited, including your full name, nationality or citizenship, and date of birth. If any of these details are incorrect, submit a new TDAC with the correct information.

Always review your latest submission and ensure it reflects your actual travel arrangements before departure.
